why MythBARKERS

There is a crisis in our country with millions of homeless dogs unnecessarily suffering and dying each year. Animal shelters and rescue organizations are doing the best that they can, but the majority are under-resourced and struggling to keep up. While we are strong believers in “Adopt, Don’t Shop”,  we simply cannot adopt our way out of this predicament.

Spay and neuter initiatives are the only way we can significantly reduce the future population of homeless dogs. Without them, millions of homeless animals will continue to be neglected, euthanized, or die of malnourishment and disease.

Knowing this, we were inspired to create MythBarkers.

By leveraging our collective experience and network, we aim to:

  1. Build a safe and trustworthy community for dog parents;
  2. Empower dog parents to give their four-legged friends the best lives possible while making dog parenting easier;
  3. Bring like-minded people together to have a positive impact on the dog community.

Proceeds raised through MythBarkers will be donated to support spay and neuter procedures in communities of need throughout the country.
